Mission Statement of St. Joseph's Catholic Church
We are a family united in our Catholic faith that welcomes all God's children forming disciples by continuing Christ's mission of Love, Service, and Education.
Core Values
FAMILY – We welcome and value the unique gifts that each person brings to our parish family. Through fellowship and service we maintain a sense of family in our “rural church in a big city."
REVERENCE – We call upon each member of our community to a deep sense of reverence to the Blessed Sacrament, in our worship space and toward each other. Our Roman Catholic Liturgical Tradition enables us to see the face of Jesus in all.
SERVICE – Accepting God’s gifts of love calls us to share our gifts with others, including the poor, the refugees, the immigrant, the homebound and each other – treating each person with dignity and respect, as we offer them support and encouragement.
EDUCATION – We are committed to Catholic education from “infancy through adulthood”. Faith formation as an integral part of our education develops our personal spirituality and our understanding of God.
