Who should come to Mass?

The dispensation from the Sunday Mass obligation will continue for the foreseeable future.

We strongly encourage, especially the elderly and those with complicating physical conditions, including anyone showing any symptoms of illness, to continue to watch live streaming Mass from their homes.

By order of the Diocese of Amarillo, no child under 7 can enter the Church for Mass.

We will not set a limit of people who can come into the Church beforehand.  By dividing the parish into 4 groups and assigning each group a Sunday in June, we hope that will limit the number of people who will attempt to enter the Church.  I apologize if you do come and discover that that Church is already full.  If this begin to happen, I will temporarily add Masses to make it more convenient for parishioners to attend Mass.  At this point, plan to attend Mass 1 Sunday in the month of June.  This is our way to ensure that the size of the congregation in the church is not more than 50% of capacity and not more than the church can fit with social distancing maintained.  The streaming of the Masses will continue indefinitely.
